Huawei FusionSolar Boosts the Development of Solar Industry in Vietnam

Mr. Tran Quang Thanh Phong, General Manager of PTESS gave details of installing solar system on the residential rooftop. PTESS has already teamed up with Huawei to develop PV plants in Vietnam, and impressed by the cutting-edge FusionSolar Smart PV Solution and Smart I-V Curve Diagnosis. Especially the latest Smart I-V Curve Diagnosis 3.0 changes the traditional manual sampling detection. It is completed online, sparing the personnel of site visits. This greatly improves the O&M efficiency of PV plants by 50% in the entire life cycle and saves OPEX $ 0.8 million in a 50 MW ground-mounted PV plant.

Mr. Dong Trinh Hoang, Vice General Manager from CCEC JSC showed the case study of the 992 kW rooftop PV plant located in Khanh Hoa Province, a cattle farm using Huawei SUN2000-60KTL smart string inverters. "This plant gains the highest power generation compared to all the other PV plants in this province, thanks to Huawei inverters' high efficiency (Max. efficiency 99%, European efficiency 98.8%)." he said. The competitive high efficiency increases energy yields by more than 2%. Take a 50 MW PV plant as an example, the project owner will have $ 2.9 million more profits than conventional solutions. The power generation produced by this PV plant can fully cover the electricity bill and serves the existing livestock of the farm. Excess capacity is distributed to the local grid to meet the needs of the residential areas nearby, which brings more benefits to project owners.
