On August 24, Jaguar Land Rover Korea held pre-release photo session of luxury SUV convertible ‘Range Rover Evoque Convertible’ at The Shilla Hotel, in Jung-gu, Seoul. Range Rover Evoque Convertible, scheduled to go on sale in September, is the first convertible during 68-year of Land Rover. It provides dynamic driving every season irrespective of weather or geographical features.

When Evoque’s folding roof is closed, it maintains agile line and succeeds Evoque’s sophisticated design as it is finely produced with high-tech fabric. Z-folding convertible roof system helps free driving regardless of the weather by realizing perfect durability as well as design, soundproof, and insulation. It is activated within maximum 48km/h speed, and complete automatic opening and closing are possible in 18 sec and 21 sec respectively. Moreover, when the roof is opened, it presents outstanding openness with larger size than other convertibles.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible is released into two detail models; HSE Dynamic and SE Dynamic, which equipped high-performance and high-efficiency 2.0 Ingenium diesel engine. The selling prices are 80.2 million won for SE Dynamic and 90.4 million won for HSE Dynamic including VAT, and delivery to customer will be started from the middle of September. Meanwhile, the full-size wireframe sculptures that Land Rover design team accurately designed the shape of Evoque’s body is displayed.






Range Rover Evoque Convertible is the first convertible during 68-year of Land Rover, and aims for ‘luxury compact SUV convertible.’ With satisfying sensible design made by combination of daring, refined Evoque’s exterior and folding roof, advanced technology, and outstanding driving performance, Evoque presents dynamical driving every season regardless of weather and geographical features.

It is produced with the longest and largest size, so it presents outstanding openness when its opened. Z-folding convertible roof system helps free driving regardless of the weather by realizing perfect durability as well as design, soundproof, and insulation. It is activated within maximum 48km/h speed, and complete automatic opening and closing are possible in 18 sec and 21 sec respectively.

The loading space that is prepared separately from enough internal space added practicality. Regardless of opening or closing of the roof, 251L of the separated trunk loading space is prepared with a generous amount of space that large objects such as travelling bag can be easily carried. Also, internal space presents comfortable and cozy ride to the passengers as four-seater seat that four adults can easily ride in is prepared.





Range Rover Evoque Convertible is released into two detail models; HSE Dynamic and SE Dynamic, which equipped high-performance and high-efficiency 2.0 Ingenium diesel engine. 2L Ingenium diesel engine creates performance of maximum output 180PS and maximum torque 43.9kg.m, and it is a four-wheel drive composition that is combined with nine-speed automatic transmission. It is introduced that the integrated fuel efficiency is 12.4km/l and the 0-100km acceleration time is 10.3 sec.

Automatic terrain response system optimizes the car’s set up depending on the road condition, so safe driving becomes possible both on-road and off-road at all the geographical features. Moreover, torque vectoring technology increases control to the maximum at sharp corners so that the confident driving becomes possible. Premium infotainment system ‘InControl Touch Pro’ provides improved reactivity and multi-tasking function through 10.2-inch touchscreen. In HSE Dynamic, color laser head-up display system and surround camera system are basically equipped.

The selling prices are 80.2 million won for SE Dynamic and 90.4 million won for HSE Dynamic including VAT, and the delivery to customer will be started from the middle of September. Meanwhile, the full-size wireframe sculptures that Land Rover design team accurately designed the shape of Evoque’s body is displayed. The accurate outlines are delicately expressed, so it allowed to look Evoque’s unique and sensible design as a different aspect.
