The journey starts at a mom-and-pop shop. The Kimura Isao Shouten is a must-see located in Nakajima area near Wakura Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. With the restaurant overlooking the sea, and the boat tied to the dock, the freshness is a from sea to mouth experience. From raw to fried oysters over hot coals, learning how to shell oysters from locals full of smiles is a wonderful experience. The staff brings out fresh yuzu lemons for the oyster, and even offers complimentary Nakajimana Udon (noodles).

Another must-see is the Hochoshiki (traditional filleting ceremony) at the famous Kagaya Ryokan Hotel. As the chef fillets the fish, the respect for the ceremony can be felt. A hop-skip away is the Juen Hotel, offering the latest of lunch adventures. Fresh crab is on the menu for the ocean to plate experience. Visitors can enjoy making their own crab soup, folding their own sushi, and of course tasting sake. Preparing food the Japanese way is an unforgettable experience.

In Wakura Town, visitors can feel Japanese culture and "Omotenashi" throughout. With hotsprings overlooking the breathtaking ocean view and a beautiful sight of Noto Island, all can fully enjoy soaking in the extra salty but refreshing natural hotspring water. If that wasn't enough, there are local spots for you to drink fresh spring water or cook your own Onsen Tamago (soft boiled egg).

Nozawa Onsen in Nagano Prefecture is the last stop of the adventure. After shredding the powder, visitors can experience the popping night life. Many new shops feature fusion foods, locally crafted IPAs, plus all of the staple Japanese drinks and foods. The bilingual/trilingual menus, signs and people make it easy to party it up after a hard day on the slopes. Relax after a long day at the ever welcoming Kiriya Ryokan Hotel.

In case you haven't realized "Omotenashi" means hospitality, now get over here and enjoy it!
