PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) opens a public information center (MRT Jakarta Gallery) in Jakarta Kota Tua area. The gallery is located inside Kota “BEOS” Commuterline Station. DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated the gallery back on September 10, 2022, along with the President Director and Construction Director of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Mohamad Aprindy and Silvia Halim.

“Members of the public will be able to get more information about the MRT Jakarta phase 2 construction at our Visitor Center, especially facts about the construction project in the Kota Tua area. Visitors can see miniatures of the future Kota MRT station, MRT train set, and Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) used to dig the underground tunnels. Visitors could also see archaeological findings found at MRT Jakarta’s construction sites; Building Information Modeling (BIM) system used for the construction project; as well as television screens exhibiting informative videos, animations, and infographics about MRT Jakarta. In addition, visitors can also take pictures in front of an underground tunnel photo wall and stay around in our designated seating area,” Aprindy explained.

“We also use the HoloLens technology and interactive projector to visualize the Kota MRT station. Other than that, we also provide Kota Tua special edition Multi-Trip Ticket (MTT) cards and MRT Jakarta-themed souvenirs for public purchase,” Aprindy added. PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) currently has another public information center in Monas that is open for public.

"We are very pleased to be able to contribute through Bentley software solutions and services in the construction of MRT Jakarta phase 2 project which would directly impact people’s daily mobility, especially residents in the vicinity of the MRT stations. Historically, railway infrastructures had given the greatest impacts on economic growth and sustainable development," said Kaushik Chakraborty, Vice President Asia Pacific, Bentley Systems. "I would like to congratulate MRT Jakarta for establishing the visitor information center that exhibits information on the technology used for the construction of MRT Jakarta. It will certainly inspire the public, and it is such an honor for us to be able to become part of this journey with MRT Jakarta," he concluded.

The MRT Jakarta Gallery in Kota Tua is supported by Bentley software solutions and services. Visitors can enter the Gallery from the west parking area on the north side of Beos Commuterline station and train platform area. The Gallery is open daily from Monday to Sunday at 09.00 - 18.00 Western Indonesia Time.
