TOKYO, Dec. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

- Seasonal Courses Expanded with Goal of Increasing Travelers by 30% from Last Year -

Hato Bus Co., Ltd. has announced English- or Chinese-speaking bus tour courses from January to June 2018.

- Courses feature popular tour spots and experience Japanese culture

In recent years, there has been a tendency for foreign visitors to disperse into more diverse tourist spots visited by numerous Japanese travelers, such as cherry blossom spots in regional places and areas where snowy landscapes can be seen, rather than visiting only major tourist spots in Tokyo.

Hato Bus is receiving inquiries from a growing number of foreign people about not only tours it organizes for inbound tourists but also those targeting Japanese travelers.

In response, Hato Bus is scheduled to launch in January 2018 three new courses for foreign travelers who desire to visit sightseeing spots and enjoy Japanese culture.

In one course, participants will visit the Miura area in Kanagawa Prefecture, to view "Kawazu Zakura" cherry blossoms which attract approximately 300,000 people each year.

Hato Bus will also offer another course in which tourists enjoy the Fuji Shibazakura (moss phlox) Festival held at the Fuji Motosuko lakeside resort in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture. A course for Japanese travelers that includes a visit to the festival is highly popular during the Golden Week holiday period from late April to early May.

In the third new course, travelers can enjoy winter activities such as a sleigh ride at Snowtown Yeti, a ski resort at the second station of Mount Fuji in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture.
