Singaporean Leatherwork Company, Faire Leather Co., Launches First Collection of Functional Luxury

SINGAPORE, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Homegrown leather company Faire Leather Co. has launched its first collection of luxurious yet functional leather bags and small leather goods for the style-savvy modern man.

On 15 November, 2017, Faire Leather Co. launched a Kickstarter campaign, utilising crowdsourcing to help bring its leather goods to the world. The initiative aims to fund the production of the first two signature designs from Faire Leather Co.'s The Bond Collection -- the briefcase and the padfolio. In less than 36 hours, over $40,000 of the $50,000 target was already pledged and it has since surpassed the $200,000 mark.

DESIGNED FOR FORM AND FUNCTION

A contemporary take on men's leather goods, the idea for Faire Leather Co. was sparked when its founders, Joseph Lor and Ryan Choy, observed the lack of well-priced, quality leather goods that combine classic style with functional design.

"I'm your typical working professional male who needs a laptop, notebook, power bank and all my other daily essentials in a stylish bag. But I didn't feel like there was anything available that was solving a truly simple and fundamental problem -- my bag is messy and I always have to dig deep to find my stuff," says Chief Brand Officer, Ryan Choy. "So I asked Joe, 'How difficult is it to make a bag that could neatly fit literally all my essentials?'"

Together with CEO Joseph Lor, Faire Leather Co. was created, offering polished designs with utility solutions inspired by how the modern man lives, works and plays.
