Seoul. Porsche Korea (Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea Ltd.) prepares to present a line-up reflecting Porsche's heritage and future product roadmap under the theme of 'Colors of Porsche' at the Seoul Mobility Show 2023, opening on the 31st, demonstrating the splendour of the exclusive sports car brand.

At the Seoul Mobility Show 2023, celebrating ‘75 Years of Porsche Sports Cars’, Porsche Korea is planning to unveil the design study ‘Vision 357’ - paying homage to the brand’s first sports car the ‘Porsche 356’ - as the Asia Premiere. In addition, unique models so far inaccessible to the Korean audience, such as the Porsche 963; which shall compete in the FIA World Endurance Race Championship and Le Mans 24 hours this year, and the concept race car ‘Mission R’; unveiled at the IAA 2021, are also expected to be brought to Korea for the first time.

Porsche Korea CEO Holger Gerrmann stated, "Porsche, having achieved the strongest growth in the brand's history last year, both globally and in the Korean market, is planning to continue its active investments and the attractive product portfolio for our domestic customers." He also emphasized, “At this year’s Seoul Mobility Show, we are planning to portray the brand’s past, present and future through a colorful and exclusive line up, conveying the value of our modern luxury sports car brand.”

The ‘Vision 357’, to be presented as the Asia Premiere, was first unveiled to the world in Berlin, Germany in January this year, at the ‘Driven by Dreams. 75 Years of Sports Cars’ celebration. At the upcoming Seoul Mobility Show 2023, Korean designer Woosung Chung of Style Porsche is scheduled to participate in the press conference. Frank Moser, Vice President of the 911 and 718 model line, is also expected to visit the mobility show to celebrate the special Asia Premiere of the Vision 357 in the honour of media, customers, and fans in Korea – where Porsche has grown to be the sixth largest market in the world according to the sales figures in 2022.

The ‘Vision 357’, with its monolithic form based on ‘Porsche 356’, highlights the importance of the Porsche brand heritage and timelessness of its sports cars. The body proportions that combine the past, present and future with balance reflect Porsche's unique design DNA, and the details visualize the future design philosophy. Improved light signature embodying the vision of the progressive future catch the visitors’ eye as the most prominent feature, and the naturally aspirated 6-cylinder boxer engine is envisioned to deliver outstanding performance with a maximum output of 368 kW (500 PS). The high-speed mid-engine would be designed to operate with e-fuels.

The wide track makes a bullish impression and enhances driving stability. The 20-inch wheels are made of magnesium and are equipped with aerodynamically advantageous carbon fibre hubcaps and central locks. Visually, they also recall a legendary Porsche wheel: the 356 A and 356 B with drum brakes had rims with the notably large bolt circle of 205 millimetres.
