Bizzabo, today revealed that its Chief Executive Officer, Eran Ben-Shushan, was recognized as a Top 50 SaaS CEO of 2018 by The SaaS Report. The SaaS Report provides a comprehensive source for business news, investment activity, and corporate actions related to the SaaS and software markets. For this year's report, the Top 50 CEOs were selected based on detailed reviews from their respective employees and industry colleagues. Nearly 5,000 nominations on behalf of hundreds of CEOs were received this year. CEOs were assessed across a number of key areas including integrity, intelligence, energy, company culture, and company growth, among other areas. The list was developed to honor leaders of SaaS companies who have driven revenue growth while creating cultures that foster innovation.
Since Eran co-founded Bizzabo in 2011, the company has enabled thousands of professional events around the world with its multi-award winning cloud platform. Before founding Bizzabo, Eran was the CEO of Rosh-Pina Media Convention, one of Israel’s most prominent yearly events. He was also a project leader and system engineer at Elbit Systems. Eran began his career at the Israeli Air Force, serving as an officer for 9 years. He graduated cum laude from The Interdisciplinary Center Herzeliya, where he studied for a BA in Business and participated in the prestigious Sam Zell entrepreneurship program.
