Porsche Korea (CEO Mathias Busse) announced that it was recognized as the best taxpayer and received the ‘Deputy Prime Minister’s Commendation’ at the 59th Taxpayer’s Day on March 6.
The Best Taxpayer Award is given to companies and individuals who faithfully fulfill their tax obligations, contribute to fostering an advanced tax culture, and promote a spirit of sharing and mutual growth. Porsche Korea was honoured with this recognition for its faithful tax payments, which support national finances, as well as its ongoing social contribution activities that embody the values of sharing and coexistence.
Porsche Korea was highly recognized for continuously increasing its donations over the past nine years to support vulnerable groups, actively engaging in initiatives that foster the growth and dreams of future generations, and leading the tax culture among multinational corporations.
Porsche Korea CFO Philipp Ayasse, who attended the award ceremony, stated, "Paying taxes is a fundamental social responsibility that companies must fulfill, and it is an essential element for sustainable growth.” He also added, “We will continue to contribute to the development of the Korean society through diligent tax payments and diverse social contribution activities.”
Meanwhile, Porsche Korea launched the ‘Porsche Do Dream’ program in 2017, consistently carrying out social contribution activities that reflect the brand's values of ‘dream’ and ‘passion,’ achieving meaningful results. To date, Porsche Korea has donated a total of 9.44 billion KRW, supporting the dreams of 34,966 individuals, 134 organizations, and 35 schools.
