Asobi Doumei’s track ‘Daremo Karemo Dokomo Nanimo Shiranai’, the ending theme for the acclaimed anime series ‘TENGOKU-DAIMAKYO’ which is currently streaming worldwide and on-demand on Disney Plus (excluding mainland China), has been available to stream on music streaming sites internationally since April 8th. It seems that the group has scored a hit not only in Japan but globally, with the song achieving such feats as charting in Spotify’s viral top 50 in Taiwan. With the CD release of the track on May 24th, it is now available on music streaming services and as part of an EP, meaning this track will be one-to-watch moving forward.

Asobi Doumei is a vocal group comprised of male and female duo ‘RiMy’ and ‘TOKUMIX. They have released numerous covers and original tracks, primarily on TikTok and YouTube, and are particularly popular with Gen Z.

‘TENGOKU-DAIMAKYO’ is a science fiction adventure set in the near future which is currently serialized in Kodansha’s ‘Afternoon’ magazine, with the original manga the work of Masakazu Ishiguro (Renowned for ‘And Yet the Town Moves’). The series garnered attention immediately after its initial serialization in 2018, topping the rankings in the male edition of the ‘Kono Manga ga Sugoi 2019’ (This Manga is Amazing!) list in the December immediately after its first publication, a rare feat for such a young series. It has grown to become an even more popular series that has had 8th volumes of manga published. Production of the anime series of ‘TENGOKU-DAIMAKYO’ is spearheaded by ‘Production I.G., with involvement from ‘PSYCHO-PASS’ who have worked on numerous famous sci-fi series such as ‘GHOST IN THE SHELL’.
