The music video for “Ai no Omosa,” (Weight of Love), the lead song from STU48's first album “Natsukashii Ashita” (Nostalgic Tomorrow) premiered on the official STU48 YouTube channel on June 2. STU48 is one of the sister groups of AKB48 produced by Yasushi Akimoto.

The long-awaited first album “Natsukashii Ashita” to be released on June 12, is “culmination” and “new departure” of STU48, which has been in its eighth year of formation. In addition to the 10 single songs released over the past seven years, the album also includes a new song for each type of editions. The album's lead track, “Ai no Omosa,” is a song about the difficulty of caring for someone and the strength that comes from love.

The music video starts with a scene of Mai Nakamura running as fast as she can through the schoolyard and gradually captures the individual members’ energetic performance.

The final scene gives us a sense of anticipation for the new future that the new STU48 will create as they move forward into their eighth year.

Multiple subtitles are available on this music video so let’s turn on subtitles and lyrics are displayed!

The song “Ai no Omosa” is now available for download and streaming on various DSPs.
