Back in February, Numskull Designs announced their Sonic the Hedgehog Sakura range, a stylish fusion of gaming culture and Japanese elegance.

The designs feature two popular characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Amy Rose and Shadow the Hedgehog, pictured against Sakura blossoms. Sakura is the Japanese term for ‘cherry blossom’, considered to be the unofficial flower of Japan. Sakura have been celebrated in Japan for centuries, and as a result, hold a prominent position in the history and culture of the country.

Numskull launched the range with two t-shirts which proved to be extremely popular amongst fans, and the range was expanded in June with Amy & Shadow picnic blankets, snapbacks and water bottles.

The latest products to be added to the range were revealed today (Wednesday, 31st July) and consist of a lamp and Nintendo Switch carry case.
