Porsche Korea Unveils Its Exceptional Line-up and Announces Brand Growth Roadmap at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025

Porsche Korea (CEO Mathias Busse) exhibited a total of 13 vehicles including the new 911, making its Korea Premiere at the ‘Seoul Mobility Show 2025’.

On the morning of the 3rd, at a press conference held under the theme of ‘Porsche. There is no substitute’ with media personnel and officials in attendance, Porsche Korea CEO Mathias Busse unveiled the new 911, sharing the future vision of the brand, including major business plans for 2025.

Porsche Korea CEO Mathias Busse stated, “The Korean market plays a pivotal role in our brand's growth in realizing our future product roadmap.” He added, “Porsche Korea is planning to present more active business investments as well as an attractive product portfolio.”

To introduce the brand’s first all-electric SUV, the ‘Macan Electric’ in person, Jörg Kerner, Vice President Product Line Macan at Porsche AG, co-led the press conference and garnered attention.

■ Value-driven growth and a balanced product strategy

 
Porsche Korea announced various investment plans to further enhance the brand’s value through a ‘value over volume’ strategy and provide a differentiated customer experience in the era of electrification and digitalisation.

Porsche Korea plans to expand customer choices with an attractive portfolio that meets diverse demands based on a well-balanced product strategies of efficient combustion engines, high-performance hybrids, and innovative all-electric vehicles.

The brand will introduce new sports flagship models, the Taycan Turbo GT, the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package, and the Panamera GTS, followed by the brand’s first all-electric SUV, the Macan Electric, the brand’s iconic model, the new 911, the high-performance 911 GT3, and the GTS line-up with sporty performance and high everyday usability.

Additionally, Porsche Korea will enhance its brand competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth through expanding its network nationwide, strengthening after sales services, and a stronger focus on customer journey.

Starting with the opening of the ‘Porsche Service Centre Seongsu’ and the innovative retail concept ‘Porsche Studio Hannam’, the opening of the ‘Porsche Centre Satellite Jeju’ is also on the horizon, aiming to double its service network by 2030. The brand will further expand its charging infrastructure and dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV) facilities, strengthening its electrification strategy while focusing on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of specialized EV facilities.

Porsche Korea will continue its social contribution campaign ‘Porsche Do Dream’, celebrating its ninth year in 2025. With a total donation of 1.8 billion KRW, the company will support sustainable achievements in various fields such as education, culture, art and environment.

■ The new 911 – Setting new standards in timeless sports cars

 
The main stage of this year’s mobility show showcased the new 911, which raised the standard for performance, design, and personalisation.

Notably, this year’s mobility show will feature the ‘911 Carrera 4 GTS’, the first 911 for the road equipped with a super-lightweight performance hybrid.

The new 911 features a revamped design, better aerodynamics, a fresh interior, upgraded standard equipment and expanded connectivity. The new ‘911 Carrera GTS’ equipped with the newly developed, innovative powertrain system with 3.6 litres of displacement, delivers significantly improved driving performance. The 911 Carrera GTS Coupé accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h.

The new 911 equipped with a performance hybrid drive represents another technological milestone for Porsche sports cars. It incorporates motorsport-derived technology into its hybrid system, featuring the newly developed T-Hybrid system with an advanced electric turbocharger, ensuring a lightweight and powerful performance.

Staying true to tradition while embracing the future, the 911 has continuously integrated innovative elements into each generation while maintaining an attractive portfolio. The new 911 takes up this principle with a series of measures that improve its aerodynamic properties and accommodate the additional cooling requirements of the fundamentally revamped drive systems. Specific features at the front and rear emphasise the width and stature of the sports car, giving an even more elegant, striking and commanding appearance on the road.

For the first time, the 911 has a fully digital instrument cluster. Combining the iconic 911 design DNA with modern technology, the Porsche Driver Experience control concept enables intuitive operation, personalised driving mode settings, and enhanced driver assistance systems, delivering an elevated driving experience.

■ Porsche booth that embodies innovation and heritage

 
Porsche Korea also showcased the ‘Macan Electric’, which offers top-class E-Performance with characteristic Porsche sportscar handling, long-distance range and high everyday usability.

At the Seoul Mobility Show 2025, the Porsche booth will be designed around two key sections that embody the brand’s core values: one dedicated to the GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) models, representing Porsche’s high-performance legacy, and the other showcasing innovative all-electric E-Performance models.

Porsche Korea plans to welcome the visitors with a selective line-up that stars as many as 13 diverse models, including the new 911 and the Macan Electric, the ‘904 Carrera GTS’, ‘99X Electric’, ‘Taycan Turbo GT’, ‘Taycan GTS’, ‘Panamera GTS’, and ‘Cayenne GTS’.
