Porsche Korea Newly Opens Porsche Centre Changwon and Service Centre

Porsche Korea (Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea Ltd.) announced the opening of a new showroom and service centre in Changwon of the Gyeongnam region, to enhance its nationwide dealer network. The centre will be operated by Deutsch Auto Co Ltd. (CEO Jaeheung Han) of the Deutsch Motors, an authorized dealer partner of Porsche Korea.

With the opening of the first official ‘Porsche Centre Changwon’ in the Gyeongnam region, Porsche Korea is expected to meet the rising demand and interest in premium sports cars and attract more customers. In particular, the ‘Porsche Centre Changwon,’ which reflects the latest CI design concept of the dealer network, is expected to be a centre for electromobility with Porsche's High Power Charging infra-structure, preparing for the ‘E-mobility era’.

With a gross floor area of 2,000㎡ (602 pyeong), 'Porsche Centre Changwon' is spread over 4 ground floors, and provides one-stop service from purchasing new cars to after sales service, with enhanced customer satisfaction and convenience.

On the first floor of the showroom, 6 cars can be displayed and gives space for the service centre registration. In addition, a separate area for Porsche Driver’s Selection (PDS), which offers products that resonate with the lifestyle of Porsche customers, will be available on the first floor. On the second floor, premium service will be provided in the digitalized customer lounge and fitting lounge.

A quick and accurate after sales service is also secured. The service centre located on the third and fourth floor is equipped with 3 work bays, skilled technicians, as well as state-of-the-art equipment, and can provide service for over 150 units per month.

A customer convenience zone, can be used by the customers during vehicle maintenance. In addition to an extensive parking space that can accommodate 26 vehicles in total, a waiting area is prepared in the customer lounge with an Internet and comfort zone, where customers can relax while their vehicles are getting repaired.

Moreover, ahead of the launch of Porsche’s first pure electric sports car, the Taycan, Porsche Korea is installing Korea’s first two 320kW High Power Chargers (HPCs) and 5 AC chargers to prepare for the full-scale E-mobility era.

“We expect that brand satisfaction of our Porsche customers in the Gyeongnam region will be further improved, thanks to the extension of the Porsche Changwon Service Centre,” said Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea. “It will increase the touch points for the Korean customers and we will provide the best service that matches our premium brand by further nationwide network expansions.”

The CEO of Deutsch Motors, Oh-Soo Kwon stated, “Deutsch Auto will be strengthening its position as a Porsche authorized dealer partner with the new opening of Porsche Centre Changwon, along with the Porsche Centre Gwangju and Suwon.” He remarked, “We will provide the best operating services to deliver the true value and differentiated services of the Porsche brand to customers in Changwon and the Gyeongnam region, a promising area with great demand and growth potential for imported car brands.”

Meanwhile, Porsche Korea currently operates a total of 12 Porsche centres, 12 service centres, 2 Porsche approved centres, and a new retail format with the ‘Porsche Studio Cheongdam.’
