CONTACT's booth H24 in hall 17 centers around a racing simulator which is connected to the Elements platform and already proved to be a crowd-puller at last year’s Hannover Messe. For this year, the scenario featuring a fictional motorsport team has been significantly expanded. It now illustrates how the integration of IoT, PLM, and MES increases the efficiency and pace of industrial development and manufacturing processes.

CONTACT's IoT platform collects and analyzes the car’s telemetry data, revealing which vehicle components offer optimization potential. Based on these insights, the ideal purchased part is identified. The selection not only considers performance criteria but also environmental aspects like the provision of sustainability certificates. Once the optimum component is found, it is tested in the digital twin of the vehicle to save time and resources.

This year, the interactive scenario extends all the way to the shopfloor. At the OWL joint stand D27 in hall 07, visitors learn how CONTACT's solutions for digital production control help reduce downtime in manufacturing, optimize maintenance processes, and achieve high delivery reliability. Thanks to transparent scheduling and resource planning, production managers remain calm even in the event of short-term staff absences.

At CONTACTs demo stations, visitors gain insights into the specialist applications and learn how to best leverage them for their company’s use cases. CONTACT Elements offers more than 50 software modules for collaborative product development and project management, digitally connected production control, smart services, and more. They are based on industry standards, can be flexibly combined, and operated on-premises or in the cloud.
