“On February 24, we celebrated the opening of the Gibson Garage London, marking an important milestone in our 130 years of history since Orville Gibson started making instruments. The London Garage opening events, the artists that joined us, and most importantly the local and global teams working together to make it happen are evidence that we are setting conditions for the best years of Gibson to be ahead of us.” - CESAR GUEIKIAN, PRESIDENT, AND CEO OF GIBSON

Inside the Gibson Garage London, visitors can plug in and play more than 300 electric and acoustic guitars across Gibson, Gibson Custom, Gibson Acoustic, Epiphone, and Kramer, explore the entire collection of Maestro pedals, and more across 4,000 square feet of retail space.

At the Gibson Garage London, music lovers can design their own Made-to-Measure guitar inside the Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab by selecting a unique guitar top off the wall and choosing the specs inside and out. The Gibson Garage London features a special, dedicated Acoustic guitar room with one of the largest displays of Gibson Acoustic guitars in the entire UK, as well as areas for Epiphone electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, and the biggest display of Kramer guitars in the UK. Last week, at the Gibson Garage London kickoff event music icons Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Sir Brian May, James Bay, and Rosie Frater-Taylor were on hand to celebrate the opening with a special “In Conversation” event with legendary guitarist Jimmy Page, and live music on the Gibson Garage London stage. On opening day, Saturday, February 24, music fans lined up around the block starting at 4:00AM for access. Upon opening the doors, the Gibson Noel Gallagher ’78 Les Paul Custom hand-signed guitars sold out completely within the first 30 minutes, with all profit from the sales of these guitars going to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Ritchie Faulkner of Judas Priest, The Blackout, Tyler Childers Band, and Gibson Generation Group artist Charlie Churchill came out to usher in an opening day with a packed crowd all day long. The opening culminated a month-long series of events celebrations in the London music community around the opening of the Gibson Garage London.

The Gibson Garage London is the ultimate guitar and music experience and features uniquely British cultural discoveries around every corner and level. Music fans will experience regular live performances, artist showcases and signings, and panel discussions from musicians and artists, all from its state-of-the-art stage located on the lower level of the Garage. The Gibson Gallery, a bi-annual revolving gallery wall, displays the photography of British artists and musicians.
